About CK Nutrition

Hi, I’m Christine Kenna, a Certified Nutritionist with a Level 5 Diploma in Advanced Nutrition from Mac Nutrition and a Certified Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science from George Mason University, where I also minored in Psychology. Based in Northern Virginia, I combine my medical background with science-backed nutrition strategies to help clients achieve sustainable, long-term health results.

My journey into nutrition began with my own transformation—I lost nearly 80 pounds by focusing on balanced eating habits and lifestyle changes. Experiencing firsthand the power of proper nutrition, I became passionate about helping others break free from fad diets and restrictive eating patterns.

At CK Nutrition, I provide personalized nutrition coaching and individual consultations to help clients lose weight, build healthier habits, and develop a better relationship with food—without unnecessary restrictions. Whether you need ongoing coaching for accountability or a one-time consultation for expert guidance, I create customized, evidence-based strategies that fit your lifestyle and goals.

I also share practical nutrition advice and myth-busting insights on my blog, making healthy eating more accessible and sustainable.

Let’s work together to create a realistic, personalized plan that works for you—without the confusion or extremes!

Meet Lily

This is Lily, my 13-year-old walking companion and the best adventure buddy I could ask for. Staying active has been a key part of my health journey, and Lily has been by my side every step of the way. She loves our daily walks—our favorite route winds through the woods to a peaceful creek, pictured above!

Lily also has an inspiring weight loss story of her own. When I took her in at 5 years old, she weighed 70 pounds. Through a year of consistent activity and mindful nutrition, she reached a healthy 40 pounds.

Now in her senior years, Lily has gained back 15 pounds, but she’s been through a lot—two TPLO surgeries and some arthritis since 2020. While she still enjoys her walks, she now balances activity with well-earned relaxation on the couch. Despite these changes, she’s happy, healthy, and living her best life—and that’s what truly matters!
