After years working as a nurse, I reached a turning point in my own health journey. Frustrated by lifelong struggles with my weight, I decided to dive into the world of nutrition after personally shedding nearly 80 pounds through dietary changes.

Let me tell you, I've been down the road of fad diets ā€“ none of them stuck because they just weren't sustainable for me. Dealing with poorly managed hypothyroidism and PCOS only added to the challenge.

But you know what really got to me? The sheer amount of misinformation out there. Even well-meaning doctors sometimes missed the mark. It was time for a change.

I've learned that it's not about big, drastic moves, but rather the small tweaks that can make all the difference. And now, armed with my nursing experience and newfound knowledge in nutrition, I'm here to help you navigate your own journey to better health.

Can I still drink wine?

Yes, no food or drink is off limits. I believe in an 80/20 lifestyle where 80% of your food comes from nutrient-dense foods, while the rest can come from less nutrient-dense options, such as wine.

Do I have to exercise?

Exercise is a vital component of a healthy lifestyle. It's common to overestimate the number of calories burned through exercise. Remember, exercise for health, not just for weight loss.

Can I eat whatever I want?

Weight loss involves creating a calorie deficit. While some changes are necessary, you can still incorporate foods you love into the process. I will guide you in achieving a more balanced approach.

Are there any bad foods?

Food is food. Feeling guilty when enjoying a piece of chocolate is not uncommon, but you donā€™t have to live that way. Let me show you a different way.
